D-2100XL4/D-2100XL5 THE ERGONOMIC, OPTIMAL DRILL PIPE INSPECTION SOLUTION

The MAGNAFLUX® D-2100XL4 AND D-2100XL5 are highly powerful Magnetic Particle Inspection systems designed to test OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) drill pipe. The system is partially automated with specific ergonomic and safety features that allow ease of material handling and prevent potential pinch points. These units can accommodate pipe over 20 feet in length, 20″ in diameter, and weigh 4000 pounds.

• Ergonomic tailstock design uses pneumatics in lieu of manually moving it up and down the rail
• Easy part loading due to the clamshell coil design that opens to allow parts to be loaded from overhead on to the unit
• Coil current adjustments are aligned based on the location of the coil on the unit. The coil closet to the headstock is controlled on the main operator interface, while the other coils are controlled by push buttons between the panels, allowing for efficient processing time, and avoiding going back to the main operator interface when processing long parts using the coil circuit.
