    The UMX-2 underwater material and coating thickness gauge is specifically engineered for conducting inspections in offshore environments. It is capable of operating effectively at depths of up to 1000 feet (300 meters), ensuring reliability and accuracy even in challenging underwater conditions. This gauge offers remarkable versatility with the option to use both Dual and Single element transducers, catering to various inspection needs.

    One of its standout features is the inclusion of multiple measurement modes, allowing users to adapt the gauge to different application requirements seamlessly. The UMX-2 is equipped with an onboard 5,000 point data logger, which stores all measurement data along with the settings used for each measurement. Additionally, it captures actual A-Scan waveforms, providing detailed insights into the material thickness and coating integrity being assessed.

    To enhance usability and functionality, the UMX-2 comes with DakView software, which is compatible with both PC and MAC OSX platforms. This Java-based software facilitates comprehensive data analysis and reporting, making the UMX-2 an indispensable tool for professionals engaged in underwater inspections and maintenance operations.
