Wilson Clamps, Vises, and Vari Rests assist in securely holding large or non-standard shaped parts for easier hardness testing. Self Leveling Vises feature options of inserts and magnet for holding round samples. Vises keep the test pieces perpendicular to the indenter and are easily adjusted. The Vari-Rest Support is a fixture for testing elongated parts. The fixture is clamped to the top of the elevating screw, then adjusted to bring the piece into the correct relationship with the anvil and indenter. Numerous parts can be tested with the same set-up simply by raising and lowering the elevated screw.
