The Spectroline XDS-1000 AccuMAX Dual Sensor Detector is a microprocessor-controlled unit with a dual-wavelength sensor detector. This detector has a superior bandpass interference filter and an excellent cosine response. The AccuMAX also has sealed sensor housing and USB connection with a water-resistant adapter. Multilingual display settings allow the user to chose from English, Spanish, French, and German. The dual-wavelength sensor, with a 0.75" aperture, allows the user to measure both UV-A and Visible light. This unit operates with two non-rechargeable 9V alkaline battery cells, included in the package.
The AccuMAX XDS-1000A, with the same functionality as the AccuMAX XDS-1000, includes a sensor front end aperture of 0.5" in diameter for those who require this specification for internal UV-A light measurements. The model XDS-1000A complies with ASTM specifications for MPI and FPI.
The UV-A Sensor has a measurement range of 0-100 mW/cm2 and a spectral range of 320-400 nm. The Visible Sensor has a measurement range of 0-5,300 lux (0-500 fc) and a spectral range of 460-675 nm.
