The DeFelsko PosiTector RTR Height Surface Profile Gage is ideal for applications involving textured coatings and blasted steel. The Height Surface Profile Gage processes more accurate peak-to-valley height measurements, with no need for calibration adjustments on most applications. This gage is also weatherproof - resistant to dust, water, oil, solvent, and acid. The 50.8 μm (2 mils) incompressible film is automatically subtracted from all readings. It is also mils/microns switchable. The PosiTector RTR Height Surface Profile Gage conforms to ISO 8503-5, ASTM D4417 Method C, NACE RP0287 and SSPC-PA17 national and international standards.
The PosiTector RTR H is a ruggedly designed indoor/outdoor gage that can handle use in the shop or field. Its high-contrast, color LCD screen also has a backlit display that makes it perfect for applications in dimmer environments. This gage minimizes the user's workload by reducing the number of replicas needed to ensure accuracy. This gage utilizes alkaline or rechargeable batteries and has a built-in charger.
Two styles of PosiTector gage, Standard and Advanced, are available with the RTR H probe. Standard models can store or download up to 1000 readings per probe and Advanced models can store or download up to 250,000 readings in up to 1,000 batches and sub-batches. The Advanced Model can also show live graphing of measurement data and be integrated with third-party software, drones, ROVs, PLCs, and robotic devices through industry-standard communication protocols.
