The DeFelsko Rechargeable Battery Pack includes 4 AAA batteries, precharged and ready for use right out of the package. These batteries have low self-discharge, keeping 90% of their charge after 6 months, and 85% after 12 months. The Rechargeable Batteries perform at temperatures down to -10°C and run longer than conventional Nickel Cadmium batteries. Batteries can be recharged while inside the PosiTector when it is connected via USB.
