The Spectroline XS-555-L Luminance Sensor Detector for AccuMAX is ideal for performing radiographic examinations. The detector meets ASTM E1742 standards. Unlike other units, the Luminance Sensor Detector allows the user the choice of displaying reults in candelas per square meter (cd/m2), candelas pre square foot (cd/ft2) or footlamberts (fL). Typically, the detector is used to uniformly measure the brightness of a visible light source in radiating surfaces like backlit panels, film viewers, and monitors.
The sensor's measurement range is 0-1,000,000 cd/m2 (0-285,000 fL), and the sensor's spectral range is 460-675 nm.
