The Magnaflux Spotcheck® SKL-4C Penetrant is a water based, water washable, red dye penetrant used mainly for testing leaks and for the inspection of ceramic and other chemically sensitive plastic parts. SKL-4C is most effective when used between 40 and 125 degrees Fahrenheit.
SKL-4C appears purplish red under visible light and fluorescent orange under ultraviolet black light. It can also be diluted with water with the suggested amount being a 1 to 1 ratio.
Spotcheck® SKL-4C is used in leak testing and in the inspection of ceramic and chemically sensitive plastic parts.

SKL-4C indications appear dark purplish red under visible light and fluorescent orange under UV black light to provide dual range inspection capability. SKL-4C can be diluted infinitely with water but a dilution of 1:1 is generally recommended.
