    Description

The Dakota Ultrasonics Max II very accurately measures fasteners up to 100 feet in length and offers more features, more powerful hardware, speed and length measurements when compared with other models. The MAX II Bolt Tension Monitor is the most versatile bolt tension monitor currently available.

The Max II measures bolt length by determining the change in transit time of an ultrasonic shock wave that travels the length of the fastener, regardless of the mechanical tightening method. While a load is applied the to the fastener, the MAX II processes the transit time in nanoseconds, elongation, load, stress, or %strain.

The Max II has been designed for ease-of-use and reduces operator error through automating many of its processes. Built in data recordation and supporting DakView utility software for Windows PC & MAC OSX make Dakota Ultrasonic's Max II the most reliable solution for the most challenging bolting applications.

When purchasing this instrument, please be sure to select the transducers that best meet your measurement requirements.
