DeFelsko PosiTector UTG Ultrasonic Thickness Gage Probes (PTUTG-PROBES)

The DeFelsko PosiTector UTG Probes measure wall thickness in materials like steel and plastic using ultrasonic technology. The UTG is ideal for measuring the effects of corrosion and erosion on tanks, pipes, and any structure where access is limited to one side. Built-in temperature compensation ensures measurement accuracy. The probes are weatherproof - resistant to dust, water, acid, solvent, and oil, and have wear-resistant tips. 

The PosiTector UTG comes with a choice of probes (Corrosion Integral Probe, Corrosion Cabled Probe, Xtreme Corrosion Probe, Low Frequency Probe, Multiple Echo Probe, Precision Probe). Braided stainless steel cables provide durability and feature heavy-duty strain reliefs for demanding applications. UTG Probes conform to national and international standards including ASTM E797. For underwater or remote measuring, extended cable lengths are available up to 20 m (60').
