DeFelsko PosiTest Magnetic Pull-Off Coating Thickness Gages measure non-magnetic coatings like paint, enamel, galvanizing, metalizing, and plating, on steel. The PosiTest has extra rugged housing that is unaffected by mechanical shock, water, acid, or solvents and a wear-resistant carbide probe. A V-groove in the probe housing allows for measuring on cylindrical objects.
With fully supported and positive positioning, there are no pivoting tendencies during measurement. Positive visual and audible indicators designate an established thickness reading. The center of the dial cover is easy to remove for calibration adjustment. Options for various applications include F, FM, G, and GM. The PosiTest Pull-Off Coating Gages conform to ASTM D7091/B499, ISO 2808, and others.
