The DeFelsko PosiTest LPD Low Voltage Pinhole Detector, ideal for applications on metal and concrete substrates, detects holidays, pinholes, and other discontinuities in coatings. This pinhole detector meets or exceeds IP65, being weatherproof, dustproof, and shockproof with a rugged, environmentally sealed enclosure. The PosiTest LPD is designed with an easy-to-use interface that includes bright, multi-function LEDs. An automatic self-test verifies voltage calibration, the regulated voltage outputs that will not drop under load. GroundSense visibly reassures the user that the instrument is properly grounded. The PosiTest LPD both audibly and visibly alerts when flaws are detected.
The PosiTest LPD has 4 voltage output options that conform to a variety of standards. It also features a wide range of adaptable sponge hardware for a variety of test configurations. The two options for the Low Voltage Pinhole Detector are the Basic Kit and the Complete Kit. The Basic Kit has everything required for detecting pinholes using a rectangular sponge, where the Complete Kit also includes extension accessories and an additional roller sponge. The PosiTest LPD conforms to IP65, ISO 14654, ISO 8289-A, ASTM G62, G6, D5162, BS7793-2, NACE TM0384, SP0188, AS3894.2, and JIS K 6766.
