    Simple
    The PosiTector 6000 delivers fast, reliable measurements with over 60 readings per minute, or more than 90 in FAST mode. It’s ready to use right away with no setup needed for most jobs. The large 2.8" impact-resistant color touchscreen and updated keypad make navigation easy, while on-gage help offers quick guidance. A flashing display improves visibility in noisy areas, and the RESET feature quickly restores factory settings.

    Durable
    The PosiTector 6000 is built to last with a weatherproof, dustproof, and water-resistant IP65-rated enclosure. Its ergonomic design features a durable rubberized grip and a wear-resistant probe tip for long-term reliability. A shock-absorbing rubber holster adds extra protection against impacts, and both the gage body and probe are backed by a two-year warranty.

    Accurate
    Each PosiTector 6000 comes with a Certificate of Calibration showing traceability to NIST or PTB. Built-in temperature compensation maintains accurate readings, while Hi-RES mode enhances display resolution for precise applications. The gage also meets national and international standards, including ISO and ASTM.

    Versatile
    The PosiTector body is versatile, accepting all PosiTector probes—including 6000, 200, RTR, SPG, DPM, IRT, SST, UTG, SHD, BHI, and GLS—allowing it to easily switch from a coating thickness gauge to a surface profile gage, dew point meter, soluble salt tester, ultrasonic wall thickness gauge, hardness tester, or gloss meter. It offers multiple calibration options, including 1-point, 2-point, and ISO 19840 correction factors, along with selectable display languages and an auto-rotating screen with Flip Lock. Extended cables up to 75 m (250 ft) are available for remote or underwater measurements, and readings can be displayed in mils, microns, or millimeters.

    Powerful
    The PosiTector 6000 features a Statistics mode that continuously updates the average, standard deviation, minimum, maximum, and total number of readings while measuring. Users can save up to 100 screen images for record keeping with the Screen Capture feature. A HiLo alarm provides audible and visual alerts when measurements exceed set limits. The gage powers on instantly if recently turned off and can operate for over 20 hours on 3 AAA batteries. A USB port allows easy connection to a PC for data transfer or continuous power, with the cable included. Every stored measurement is date- and time-stamped, and web-based software updates keep the gage current. Software tools are also available for viewing, analyzing, and reporting data.
