The DeFelsko Positector DPM Dew Point Meter measures and records climatic conditions such as relative humidity, air temperature, surface temperature, dew point temperature, wind speed, and the temperature difference between the surface and dew point temperatures. The DPM is Ideal for surface preparation as required by ISO 8502-4, BS 7079-B4, ASTM D3276, IMO PSPC, SSPC-PA7, and US Navy NSI 009-32.

All readings are continuously updated and displayed simultaneously on a large 2.8-inch impact-resistant color touchscreen, which features a redesigned keypad for swift menu navigation. Alarms are triggered to indicate when climate conditions become unsuitable for painting. The device provides on-gauge help, explaining menu items with the touch of a button, eliminating the need to consult complex tables or use a slide rule calculator.

The device boasts a weatherproof, dustproof, and water-resistant IP65-rated enclosure, making it highly durable for various environments. Its ergonomic design includes a durable rubberized grip and a shock-absorbing, protective rubber holster for enhanced impact resistance. The new Clean RH Sensor mode helps restore performance after prolonged exposure to high humidity or VOC-rich environments, applicable to models PRBDPM, DPM1, and DPM3. Additionally, it comes with a two-year warranty covering both the gage body and the probe.
Accurate
The device features fast-response precision sensors that deliver accurate and repeatable readings. New field-replaceable, pre-calibrated, and certified Relative Humidity and Air Temperature sensors minimize downtime, specifically in models PRBDPM, DPM1, and DPM3. For the PRBDPM model, the Relative Humidity and Surface Temperature sensors acclimate in half the time of previous models, reducing wait times and speeding up inspections. SmartTrend™ Indicators provide insight into whether readings are rising, falling, or stable. A Certificate of Calibration is included, demonstrating traceability to NIST, and the device conforms to national and international standards, including ISO and ASTM.
Versatile
The device features an Auto Log mode that records environmental parameters at user-selected time intervals. It includes an auto-rotating display with a Flip Lock for ease of use. The PosiTector DPM L model can independently attach to steel structures to measure and record environmental parameters for up to 200 days. Stored datasets can be downloaded using a PosiTector Advanced gage body or an Apple/Android smart device. The device allows for switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit and offers selectable display languages for user convenience.
Powerful
The device offers a Screen Capture feature, allowing users to save up to 100 screen images for record keeping and review. Its instant-on capability ensures rapid power-up if the gage was recently turned off. A USB port provides a quick and easy connection to a PC and supplies continuous power, with a USB cable included. The PosiSoft USB Drive enables access to stored readings and graphs through universal PC/Mac web browsers or file explorers without the need for additional software. It comes with the PosiSoft suite for viewing and reporting data, and software updates via the web keep the gage current. Additionally, every stored measurement is date and time stamped for accurate record maintenance.
