    Description

Hand-held eddy current conductivity tester with color touch screen display for non-ferrous metal or
non-magnetizable metals such as aluminum, copper, and stainless steel with automatic normalization
of the conductivity values. Compact ergonomic and portable. Conforms to DIN EN ISO 2004-1 and ASTM E 1004.

    • Different measurement frequencies from 15 kHz up to 1 MHz depending on the probe
    • Measurement range: 0.5 - 65 MS/m or 1 - 112 %IACS
    • Automatic temperature compensation
    • Factory-provided master calibration with 8 standards at 20°C
    • Memory for several thousand measuring applications and readings
    • Lift-off compensation to 500 µm
    • Application software based on Windows CE simplifies settings - measurement and data evaluations.
    • Extensive statistical evaluation of test series with date/time stamp as well as computation of Cp, Cpk, and histogram presentation
    • USB port for data transfer

    * Low-Frequency FS40 LF and High-Frequency FS40HF Probes are available (at additional cost) and should
be specified as substitutes for FS40 Probe

    Features

    • Non-destructive, precise measurement of the electrical conductivity of non-ferrous metals
    • Measures according to DIN EN 2004-1 and ASTM E1004
    • Used with probe FS40, the handheld device meets the Boeing specification BAC 5651
    • High-resolution touchscreen display with virtual keyboard and user-friendly graphical user interface
    • Various measurement frequencies for different penetration depths, from 15 kHz to 2 MHz, depending on the probe
    • Operating temperature: 0 – 40 °C
    • Measurement range: 0.3 – 63 MS/m or 0.5 – 108 % IACS
    • Accuracy at room temperature: ± 0.5 % of the measured reading
    • Takes into account the temperature coefficient of electrical conductivity valid for each individual material
    • Automatic curvature compensation for known curvature diameters (down to the smallest diameter of 6 mm)
    • Manual temperature input and monitoring of temperature change over time (ΔT/Δt)
    • Enough memory for thousands of measuring applications and several thousand readings
    • Certified reference standards (in MS/m, % IACS) – traceable to internationally recognized calibration standards
