    Description

The Wilson DiaMet Manual Legacy Package enables operators of legacy Wilson hardness testers to improve their quality management by using DiaMet database to save and store measurement results and generate test reports. With the usage of a digital camera the testing itself is simplified and ergonomically improved for the operators since no eyepiece needs to be used anymore.

Which Hardness Testers Can Be Upgraded?

The Wilson DiaMet Manual Legacy Package is designed to work with the Wilson 400 series and Wilson MicroMet 5100 series hardness testers.

Every hardness tester with an external tube with C-Mount attachment can be upgraded with a digital camera and DiaMet™ hardness testing software.

    Benefits of Upgading

    • Be prepared for industry 4.0 where you can digitalize test data and reports
    • Tackle internal and external audits with features that allow you to review and categorize test programs and test jobs
    • Perform your testing automatically, save time and let the software improve your ROI

How DiaMet Saves Time - Easy to Operate in Just a Few Steps

By removing all unnecessary steps, DiaMet allows users to set-up and run samples in the least possible time. Below is an overview describing a typical workflow within the DiaMet software.

    Step 1: Select Program

All application specific parameters including scale, dwell time, pattern, conversion and report template are stored in the same program.

    Step 2: Position Pattern

Use the overview camera or infinite scan to see where all indents will be placed. Press start to indent and measure all.

    Step 3: Indent & Measure

Machine and software make all indentations and measure them automatically, using the standard* automatic focus, illumination and measurement functions.

    *On fully automatic configurations.

    Step 4: Evaluate

Verify the readings in graph grid and remeasure or reindent where applicable. Export results to a PDF, a printer or in Excel®.
