The Wilson VH1102 & VH1202 Micro Hardness Testers are a test machine designed to work for both Knoop and Vickers hardness testing. Utilizing both Knoop and Vickers testing techniques offers a versatile, affordable, and reliable solution for accurate micro-hardness testing. Both of these techniques provide quality control and metallurgical research applications. When conducting measurements, you are offered the choice of using the digital eyepiece in standalone mode or an integrated high-resolution camera with DiaMet software.
VERSATILITY FOR ANY LAB
The motorized turnet is a precise mechanic, allowing for a fast and quiet positioning. By having an automated test cycle, the user is able to switch between indenters and objectives. In order to have all the magnification power possible in applications, users have the option of either 4 or 6 objective slots in the turret. Although objectives are typically 10x and 50x, they can be extended to 100x allowing a total magnification of up to 1000x. When working with the VH1202, the objective is 5x which allows for easier navigation. This long working distance objective of the VH1202 lowers risks of a collision resulting in reduced maintenance costs.
