Ofil Superb Portable Handheld Corona Camera with DayCor (SUPERB)

The portable, handheld Ofil Superb-OD & Superb-XD are corona and arcing recording cameras made for daytime use. The Superb models are solar blind bispectral UV-Visible imagers with high sensitivity to surface partial discharges that differ in their display unit. Each model detects UV emissions in complete daylight with high signal to background ratios, from both far-away and nearby sources. These cameras are very robust and powerful ultraviolet emission detectors.

HIGHLY SENSITIVE UV DETECTION

Superb detects UV radiation of corona emissions as weak as 1pC at a distance of 10m and 7.7dBμV (RIV) @ 1MHz, and show both the signals and their emitting sources overlapped precisely with measurements of corona strength.

ACCURATE CORONA PINPOINTING

The lenses that come with the Superb models are powerful and have zooming capabilities so they can pinpoint corona on distant or near-by objects. Superbs are ideal for inspecting overhead transmission and distribution lines and substations.

EASY TO USE

You operate Superbs through a keyboard and user-based on-screen selections. The interface is straightforward and intuitive.

RECORDING & STORAGE BUILT-IN

Superbs record, store and play back high-resolution video clips with voice annotations, in addition to still images. Images and recordings are stored on a removable compact flash card. Media is both NTSC and PAL compatible.
