Mahr Federal introduces the Pocket Surf® IV portable surface finish gage with its simple-to-use one-button operation and an easy-to-read display. The instrument shows measurement results of Ra, Rz, or Rmax and employs Mahr's unique MarConnect universal interface allowing for USB, RS-232 or digimatic output with the appropriate cable. With MarCom software you can easily transfer your measurement data into Microsoft Excel or any other Microsoft application.
A new feature of the Pocket Surf® IV allows for the display of Ra, Rz or Rmax measurements with only one stroke. Calibration of the unit is also more straightforward with a single button calibration process that is fast, secure and requires no additional tools or accessories.
The New Pocket Surf IV retains all of the original features of the Pocket Surf I, which revolutionized the portable surface gage market over 30 years ago.
In addition, the new Pocket Surf® IV continues to be solidly built, with a durable cast aluminum housing to allow accurate, reliable surface finish gaging for years to come. The instrument is also compatible with all existing probes, stands and accessories.
The unit is available in two configurations with either a 10 um or 5 um radius tip on the standard general-purpose probe that comes with the unit.
