NewSonic Short Barrel Handheld UCI Hardness Measurement Probe Standard Version (NS-SSTND-HH-PROBE)

The Short Barrel Standard Handheld Probes from New Sonic are ideal for general, handheld testing procedures in production, maintenance, and quality assurance applications that require limited access for ID (Internal Diameter) measurements. NewSonic's Short Barrel Standard Handheld Probes provide accurate and reliable measurements, taking quick readings for a breadth of different measurement points during hardness testing. The Short Barrel Standard Probes are 144 mm in length, compared to its 177 mm counterpart.

All of NewSonic's Short and Regular Barrel Standard Handheld Measurement Probes are designed to be highly accurate and guarantee repeatable results that will remain stable over a long period. Material hardness is tested using the Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) method. The standard handheld measurement probes can measure hardness on metal, industrial ceramic and, depending on the circumstance, highly heterogeneous materials, such as cast iron (spheroidal graphite cast iron GGG50). 

Measurements include the entire range of the traditional Vickers hardness scale. Ensure you have a probe for every hardness application you may have with your SonoDur 3. The Short Barrel Standard Handheld Probes expands the measurement capabilities of the SonoDur3 as well as the SonoDur2 and SonoDur-R 'Rack' and can be setup with most devices using a standard USB interface.
