Waygate Technologies Krautkramer IR Immersion Transducers, Baker Hughes business products (formerly GE Inspection Technologies), allow users to navigate in small and hard to reach places where .25" to 0.5" diameter probes are desired. These transducers allow users to test in hard to reach places that ISS Style Transducers would not be able to fit. IR transducers are available in Alpha or Gamma series. Utilizing these series allows for critical applications to better near-surface resolution or sensitivity to small discontinuities. All IR transducers have a right angle mounted UHF connector that will fit into a 1.5 cubic inch area.
Please note that cables are not included with this purchase.
Please be sure to specify focal length. If needed, look under the ‘specifications’ tab to calculate your transducer’s focal length.

Immersion Transducer Focal Lengths Equation
The following table lists the near field lengths and minimum and maximum practical focal lengths in water expressed in inches and millimeters. To find the approximate near field length in steel, divide all Nvalues by 4.
N = (Dia.)2 x (Freq.) / (4 x Velocity)
N = Near field practical focal length
Min = Minimum practical focal length
Max = Maximum practical focal length
