The Waygate Technologies Krautkramer Internal Eddy Current Probes, Absolute, a Baker Hughes business product (formerly GE Inspection Technologies), were designed for tight spaces, with a pointed tip to fit neatly into the internal (nut) thread root to detect cracks.They can also be used for inspecting splined shafts. The length of these probes is 131 mm (5.2"). All Internal probes are fitted with Microdot connectors as well. Material options for these probes include nonferrous (NFe) and ferrous (Fe). Frequencies of 200 kHz, 500 kHz, and 2 MHz are available for the Internal probes.
