    The Bruker G4 ICARUS Series 2 Carbon and Sulfur Combustion Analyzer has a high-frequency (HF) induction furnace and features ZoneProtect™ and HighSense™ detection which enables it to have outstanding performance with lab-proven usability.

    The Combustion Process

    The G4 ICARUS has ZoneProtect™ to ensure clean, fast & efficient combustion of samples. A gas extraction nozzle ensures an optimal, surplus supply of oxygen gets applied to molten samples. The resulting combustion gases and dust particles are instantly removed through the extraction nozzle, while its collar shields the combustion tube from the liquid sample.

    The unique ZoneProtect creates unmatched performance with rapid cycle times – purge, analysis and cleaning in below one minute. ZoneProtect offers:
