Longitudinal, (option: transversal) defects, laminations; wall thickness measurement in the weld seam areaThe Waygate Technologies Krautkramer ERW tube tester, a Baker Hughes business product (formerly GE Inspection Technologies), is designed for inspection of weld seam and Heat Affected Zone (HAZ) with stationary or moving probes for Electrical Resistance Welded (ERW) pipes before and/or after hydrostatic test. Different systems configurations are available depending on the specifications and the design of the test area.

Product Features

• Test range from .08 - 0.66 m (3 - 26 in.) and wall-thickness from 3.18 - 25.4 mm (1/8 - 1 in.)
