PH Tool ERVW Piping Calibration Blocks, SDHs (ERVW.PIPE.SDH)

The PH Tool ERVW Piping Calibration Blocks come in three convenient sizes with Side-Drilled Holes (SDH) for calibrations in the axial direction while examining of circumferential butt welds. These lightweight blocks from the variable wall series feature modifications like varying thickness steps on a single block and reconfigured reference reflector locations to optimize functionality while the basic design remains ASME Compliant. The ERVW Piping Calibration Blocks have a consistent outside diameter and varying thickness steps on the inside diameter to cover a wide range of inspection dimensions and maximize wedge curvature usefulness.

Segment lengths and reflector positions were designed to establish DAC/TCG curves and control interfering reflections. Block ends are tapered to deflect termination echoes. Transducer positioning marks are machine engraved, maximizing signal from SDHs. Identification text and inspection pipe sizes are also machine engraved.
