The Waygate Technologies ELSV-60 Light Source, a Baker Hughes business product (formerly GE Inspection Technologies and Everest), features patented, field proven, Solarc lamps unlike anything else in the industry. This technology has a greater efficiency than halogen or xenon lamps when coupling light into small fiber bundles, like those found in borescopes and fiberscopes. The lamp runs on only 60 watts, keeping the ELSV-60 small and lightweight and providing high-intensity, white light without the excessive heat associated with 300-watt, xenon light sources. A video pass-through channel eliminates the need for extra cable and power cords.
The ELSV-60 offers a powered camera interface for simple camera setup and operation. An intuitive, single cable connection powers the camera and carries the video signal from the camera back to the light source. S-video and composite video outputs allow the connection of up to 2 monitors or a video recording device.
