    Description

Echo 8 HT™ is a full suite of high-temperature, slow drying fluid ultrasonic couplants ranging in three different viscosities (grades 1, 4 and 10). Echo 8 HT has a very positive safety profile and suited for all metals and most plastics.

Echo 8 HT™ covers a broad temperature range for automated (AUT) and manual (MUT) ultrasonic flaw and thickness gaging applications from -50°F to 800°F (-45°C to 425°C).

The lowest viscosity fluid (100 cST), Grade 1, is designed for long or small diameter lines and quick spreading.

A good compromise between pumping ability and run-off is Grade 4, Echo Ultrasonics' standard viscosity fluid (400 cST).

The thickest couplant is Grade 10, a very thick, honey-like fluid (5,000 cST) for MUT. It is designed to cover large hot surfaces, stays in place and leaves minimal, if any residue.

The complete line of Echo 8 HT couplants has excellent corrosion inhibition profiles for ferrous metals, leaves minimal residue and is designed to work with all metals and most plastics.

Echo 8 HT is virutally non-irritating and has a low toxicity.
