    Description
    Water-washable fluorescent penetrant. Sensitivity level 2.

    Britemor 455 is a water-washable fluorescent penetrant designed for detecting surface defects in metal and non-porous ceramic components during manufacturing and overhaul processes. This penetrant is typically used for inspecting precision castings and forgings, as well as machined surfaces and fabrications. It offers exceptionally low background levels and excellent resistance to heat and UV fading, making it ideal for electrostatic or immersion applications. Britemor 455 is certified as an ISO 3452-2 level 2 penetrant.
