NewSonic Rotogravure Test Stand Package (BE-ROTOGRAVURE-2)

This Rotogravure Package is designed to measure the Copper and Chrome hardness of rotogravure cylinders.  This technique with the UCI hardness method was developed in the 1960s by Krautkramer Branson (now a division of GE Inspection Technologies).  GE Krautkramer has discontinued the manufacturing of their portable hardness testers.  Berg Engineering has replaced the GE Krautkramer offering with the NewSonic UCI portable hardness tester.  This method provides for fast, repeatable, and accurate hardness results.  This package can read results in Vickers, HRB, HB, or HRC hardness scales.  This method uses a Vickers diamond for hardness testing.
