The MarSurf PS 10 C2 from Mahr is a measuring device for simple and mobile surface roughness testing. The user-friendly measuring device can be operated just like a smartphone using the illuminated 4.3" TFT smart touchscreen display.
The MarSurf PS 10 C2, a new variation of the MarSurf PS 10, is a practical measuring instrument whereby the standard drive unit of the MarSurf PS 10 has been replaced by the RD 18 C2 drive unit for transverse tracing, which acts like a windshield wiper in taking roughness measurements. Accessories include a hand prism, extension cable and a push-button protector with prismatic support. The RD 18 C2 drive unit has almost the same technical characteristics as the standard MarSurf PS 10, but offers a tracing distance of up to 5.6 mm.
The MarSurf PS 10 C2 enables a simple and fast transverse tracing of surfaces. The measured values of the surfaces are determined within seconds.
The unit weighs just one pound and its data can be saved in the formats TXT, X3P, CSV or PDF as finished measurement records directly in the unit. The unit comes with 31 parameters and offers the range of performance of a laboratory device with the convenience of a lightweight mobile instrument. The MarSurf PS 10 C2 is compatible with and can be mounted on a stand in addition to being versatile enough to be used horizontally, vertically or upside down.
The battery has enough power for taking 1,200 measurements and can be recharged in under two hours.
The integrated and removable calibration standard ensures you can make measurements without any errors. Data can be stored on a microSD-Card and transmitted via a USB interface to a PC or wirelessly with the added Mahr eStick.
