Proceq's Equotip portable hardness tester enables the inspection of almost any manufactured part, polished object and heat-treated surfaces in automotive, aerospace, research, energy, manufacturing, oil and gas and transportation industries. The Equotip is able to make hardness measurements via the dynamic rebound testing method according to Leeb, the static Portable Rockwell hardness test and the Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) method. Hardness measurements can be made in any environment, including in labs, on the shop floor, in manufacturing facilities or in the field.
This specific model of the Equotip allows flexible probe configuration and for existing owners of Equotip and Equostat 3 probes.
