The Wilson VH3100 Vickers/Knoop Hardness Tester is an automated, load cell based system designed for durability and precise control. The virtual, user-operated/automated moving stage positions the sample as needed and maximizes accuracy and efficiency. The VH3100 features calibrated digital objectives with multiple magnification ranges that offer a clearer view of the sample. With a 10 second dwell time, the VH3100 can perform 150 make-and-measure indents per hour. The operator creates a traverse pattern of indents, and the Hardness Tester runs the program quickly and effectively. The VH3100 is also collision-resistant, automatically stopping and retracting to prevent damage to the indenter or camera.

The VH3100 Automated Knoop/Vickers Hardness Tester features a powerful load application range of 50 gf - 10 kgf. Innovative digital zoom stepping provides a wide magnification range of 0.5x to 80x.
