The ToughPIX 2301XP explosion proof digital camera is ATEX certified for image capture within a Zone 1 IIC T4 hazardous (explosive) area. Incorporating an onboard, fully automatic strobe flash and red-eye reduction, ToughPIX 2301XP can capture still images in extreme, low light situations at the touch of a button.
ToughPIX 2301XP has a rugged IP54 design which combines still and moving image capture capability. ToughPIX 2301XP enables documentation of equipment and processes within potentially explosive areas quickly and easily with large, easy access controls allowing operation when wearing protective clothing. ToughPIX 2301XP has the ability to capture images up to an incredible 10 mega pixels, plus moving pictures in AVI format.
Still images and movies can be reviewed on the armoured LCD screen located at the rear of the camera, even in the field. With onboard memory capacity of 4GB, ToughPIX 2301XP can store hundreds of images which are then easily transferred via high speed USB communications link to a PC, upon returning to the safe area.
