The DeFelsko SHD Verifier checks the operation and accuracy of the PosiTector SHD Shore Hardness Durometer, an important part of fulfilling ISO and in-house quality control requirements. The SHD Verifier allows the user to certify the PosiTector's accuracy in-house. Shore A and Shore D durometers can be verified with the handheld smart sensor indicator, which includes a high-precision load cell. Replaceable targets are available to suit both durometers to best protect the probe tips. The SHD Verifier can be used in the field or lab. It also includes precise load control along with a micrometer adjustable stage.
The SHD Verifier is highly portable, relying not on external power, but built-in, rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries.
