    • Each specimen contains 4 flaws, for a total of 12 flaws. 
    • Set of 3 Specimens:
    • (1) 90° “T” Connection- 0.75″ (T) x 20″ (Weld Length) x 4″ x 8″ Leg
    • (1) 45° “Y” Connection- 0.75″ (T) x 20″ (Weld Length) x 4″ x 8″ Leg
    • (1) 60° “Y” Connection.- 0.75″ (T) x 20″ (Weld Length) x 4″ x 8″ Leg
    • APL Level “C” Criteria used for flaw design
    • Accept/Reject based on API RP-2X, Fig. 45 & 48
    • Flaw acceptability is not determined by ultrasonics
