Ofil ROMpact Portable SBUV Camera with DayCor (ROMPACT)

The Ofil ROMpact's patented DayCor® technology guarantees you a high sensitivity to UV corona discharge and allows the camera to operate in full daylight, delivering real-time exact locations of corona PD and electrical faults. The camera also blocks noise and false signals (Registered Patent EP1112459B1). The ROMpact's high sensitivity to UV radiation and auto focus mode allow the camera to capture corona discharge at a distance without any smearing during motion, even at high speeds. Video output is set to NTSC PAL standards. The camera can be easily mounted on a standard 1/4" thread tripod mount or existing gimbals, and its rigid stabilizing plate keeps the system attached securely while the payload stabilization system has full control.

The ROMpact systems are controlled remotely by a set of communication commands of RS232 standard. There is also an option for wireless control. An unlimited operation time means there are no worries of overheating during long inspections. The ROMpact saves and transfers information about eletrical faults and occurrences of corona partial discharge as they are detected. The corona color can also be changed in order to accommodate different backgrounds or personal preference.
