    Description
    The Reference Block is a useful tool in magnetic particle inspection. It uses a residual magnetic field to detect small and medium cracks induced on its surface through a special treatment process. The surface is then ground and coated. This block tests the performance of magnetic particle inspection materials and lighting, and checks the sensitivity of NDT materials daily for degradation or bath contamination.
