    Description

The new PVX Precision Ultrasonic Wall Thickness Gauge is a versatile tool designed for high-resolution and penetration needs. It can use different transducers for specific applications, such as Standard Delay Line for metals and thin plastics, Pencil Delay Line for challenging areas on thin materials, and Contact transducers for various applications. The gauge's adjustable resolution settings enhance its flexibility.

With selectable viewing options like RF waveform, +/- Rectified waveform, and Large Digits with Scan Bar, users have added flexibility during operation. The time-based B-Scan feature provides a cross-sectional view of the test material, displaying the profile of the opposite surface.

For faster inspections, the high-speed scan feature allows the gauge to make 32 measurements per second. Simply remove the transducer from the test material to display the minimum scanned measurement. Overall, the PVX is a flexible and precise tool for delicate measurements.

    Features

    • Hardware AGC gain control for multiple echo and thru-paint measurement.
    • Multiple calibration options: One Point, Two Point, or selection from a Material List.
    • 16 factory setups and 48 user-defined setups. User defined setups can be edited for custom applications.
    • PVX is equipped with an alpha-numeric data logger to provide increased versatility for those custom reporting needs.
    • The high speed scan feature
    • Auto find features locates the detection point(s) and adjusts the display settings to bring the waveform into view.
    • PVX comes complete with our Windows® PC software for transferring data to and from a PC.
    • Visual and audible alarm with hi and lo limit settings for specific application tolerances.
    • 1/4" 15MHz Delay Line Probe p/n T-481-5507 also available when pencil probe is not needed.
