    Description

    The Parker PL-8PDC Portable Magnetizing Coil, with an 8″ inside diameter, is designed for magnetic particle inspection of ferrous metal parts. It supports the use of both dry powder and wet fluorescent inspection media.

    The coil is encased in durable black polyurethane and includes either a standard foot switch or an optional hand switch, along with a 10′ power cord. Its sealed electrical connection box has a 2″ × 5″ flat base, enabling the coil to stand upright.

    The PDC version operates from a standard 115VAC input, but produces a powerful halve wave rectified D.C. magnetic field.

    A plastic carrying case is included.
