The PhasorXS is an ultrasonic flaw detector which uses phased array imaging for fast and accurate results. Phased array allows the operator to control multiple beams from one probe, allowing a greater area to be covered. It also reduces the time of the inspections because different angles can be viewed at the same time. Data can then be viewed in real time on the color display.
The PhasorXS has additional features such as standard DGS, AWS and JIS/DAC, responsive screen refreshes, 24 different evaluation readings, standard timed and encoded top view image and sectorial, B-scan and A-scan images with multiple color palettes and background colors.
The instrument package includes the flaw detector, lithium ion on-board rechargeable battery pack, lithium ion battery charger, AC power supply, 512 MB SD card, SD card reader to USB, BNC/Lemo adapters, screen overlays, rubber handle kit, operating cards, operating manual and a certificate of calibration.

The Phasor XS has 16/64 capability and encoded TOPView for area scanning, in addition to all the features found in the Phasor CV unit.
When used in Phased Array mode, the operator can electronically control multiple beams from one probe. The precise beam control including angle, focus and size, results in improved probability of detection (POD) and sizing. With one scan from one contact location, greater area is covered and comprehensive data can be viewed in real time on a full color sector display. When compared to conventional Ultrasonic inspection, the productivity and cost savings from the Phasor XS are easily measured.
