PH Tool ASTM E2491 Phased Array Assessment Blocks are general purpose Phased Array calibration blocks used for beam characterization and evaluation of system performance characteristics. Use as baseline blocks to determine long-term instrument performance changes, generate DAC curves, and evaluate linear/angular resolution, focusing ability and beam steering capability. With a variety of targets, these small, lightweight blocks are also perfect for customer demonstrations of phased array ultrasonic capabilities. These blocks are also referred to as a “Type B” block. Dimensions are 1" thick x 4" wide x 6" long in the US customary system, and 25 mm x 100 mm x 150 mm in the metric system. Blocks are available in 7075 - T6 Aluminum, 1018 Steel, 304 Stainless Steel, and a Special Alloy.
The Assessment Blocks are all in accordance with ASTM E2491 and PH Tool Drawing No. 10235.
Material Certification is included with all blocks.
