Gould-Bass Runchek Plaques are high-strength plastic crack panels used to provide an economical solution that the penetrant inspection process is working properly. These Plaques are highly resistant to solvent and contain two micro cracks on one side of the panel. Runchek Plaques are non-resusable and suitable for all groups of penetrants listed in the MIL-I-25135 Q.P.L.
The degree of defect visibility at the end of the penetrant inspection process gives a quality control update on the process overall, which also includes in-use products like emulsifier, developer, and penetrant. Runchek Plaques can be used singly as test panels or attatched to the component.
