The 402 Knoop/ Vickers Minuteman ELT™ 2 semi-automatic system combines the accuracy and performance of the 402 Knoop/Vickers hardness tester with the enhanced capabilities of Minuteman ELT automation. This automation system is our intermediate package, which includes automatic measurement analysis and automatic sample focusing. With the Minuteman ELT2 software package, indentations can be measured automatically or manually on your PC through software control. A high-resolution digital camera is integrated with the 402MVD and live images of the samples surface are displayed within the software. Also, a z-axis motor is installed within the frame of the 402MVD and a z-axis travel for automatic focusing and sample mounting is incorporated. Case hardness depth (CHD) calculations, graphing, statistics, and data transfer to Microsoft® Excel or Crystal Reports are all included.
