The MiniTest FH magnetic thickness gauge is engineered for non-destructive measurements up to 24mm (1 inch). It provides simple and accurate thickness measurements of non-magnetic materials, including plastic, glass, synthetics, non-magnetic metals, and composites. It is also capable of easily measuring components with complex geometries.
The intelligent SIDSP sensor in the MiniTest FH ensures high-precision measurements and excellent reproducibility, effectively compensating for temperature influences in both the measuring environment and the object being measured. Additionally, a variety of sensors is available, enabling adaptation to diverse applications and measuring tasks.
Thickness is determined by measuring the distance from the reference ball or wire to the sensor tip. A powerful magnet, located just behind the sensor tip, attracts the reference ball. The steel target balls undergo a specialized ElektroPhysik treatment, ensuring test results can be reproduced with an accuracy of up to 0.5%.
Special features such as an automatic calibration function for zero calibration and direct transfer of readings into a spreadsheet or CAQ system complement the high user comfort provided by the intuitive menu operation.
