The Danatronics MTG-99-ER Extended Range Hall Effect Thickness Gage is designed to non-destructively measure the thickness of any non-ferrous material from 0.0001”-1.00” (0.001-25.4 mm) that has access to both sides. The MTG-99-ER is portable, battery-operated, can change color and vibrate for alarms, has an internal datalogger with up to a 32 GB removable MicroSD memory card. This thickness gage features a 3.5" high resolution, sunlight readable, color TFT display (320 x 240 pixels, 1/4 VGA) with variable light intensity, with an update rate of 4-20 Hz. Results are displayed with customizeable options including thickness only, thickness and strip chart, and grid view. The Extended Range Calibration Kit includes 2 sets of magnetic balls for measuring thicker objects.
MTG-99-ER has a 2.0 USB peripheral port and optional Bluetooth and RS-232 capabilities to send and receive readings and files. There is also an app available for iPhones, Android devices, iPads, and tablets. With a long battery life of up to 16 hours per charge, your inspections will not be interrupted due to power outages and you can select automatic shutoff times. The Extended Range Hall Effect Thickness Gage is perfect for applications on nonferrous objects like plastic bottles and containers, tubing, titanium, aluminum, copper, and composite structures.
