    Description





    Mi-Glow® 834 simplifies fluorescent magnetic particle inspection by using the latest generation Mi-Glow® 800 particles. These particles offer exceptional sensitivity, uniform size, and ideal magnetic characteristics. Mi-Glow® 834 comes as a fluorescent yellow/green powder pre-mixed with borate-free Wetting Agent #34, suitable for water media. This formulation addresses health and safety concerns associated with borate-containing chemistries. Wetting Agent #34 includes excellent corrosion inhibitors and defoaming properties, ensuring reliable inspections.


    Mi-Glow® 834 particularly excels in inspecting oil and gas tubulars (OCTG). Its high fluorescence, low foaming, minimal background, and consistently sized particles make it ideal for examining pipes that may have wear from service. The product is meant to be used with UV-A light to detect discontinuities commonly found in forgings, castings, welds, and high-volume NDT applications.
