MagnaFlux Magnavis Y-7 AC/DC Magnetic Yoke with Case (MF-Y-7-Yoke)

The Magnaflux Y-7 AC/DC Yoke utilizes strong electromagnetic fields to detect surface and sub-surface defects during magnetic particle inspection. This rugged yoke is ideal for use in the field or other demanding environments inspecting seams, shrink cracks, welding slag, grinding or quenching cracks, laps, tears, and inclusions.

Magnaflux's Y-7 Magnetic Yoke has a sealed, durable construction that is resistant to chemicals and abrasion. Operators can take advantage of the solid-state controls, allowing them to switch between AC fields for surface inspection and DC fields for subsurface inspection. Articulating legs span 0 to 12 in to ensure solid contact with the part being magnetized. A 12 ft cord lets the operator move freely.

This Yoke meets requirements for ASME BPVC, ASTM E709, ASTME1444, and ASTM E3024.
