The Sonotech Sonoglide UP is an environmentally benign, ambient temperature ultrasonic couplant designed for use on nonferrous materials such as titanium, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, plastic and other magnesium alloys. It is recommended for use where low levels of halogens or sulfur is needed, such as food processing machinery or pharmaceutical manufacturing. This water-soluble couplant has an extended drying time, is non-flammable, non-irritating and orally nontoxic. It contains no heavy metals, surfactants, glycol ethers, nitrates, silicones, dyes or fragrances.
Grade 40 has a viscosity of 80,000 cps (Brookfield LV#4 @1.5 rpm).
The Sonoglide UP GR40 is available in a 1 gallon container and a 55 gallon drum.
