    Description

    GR14 is being discontinued and being replaced by GR20.  

    An Industry standard since 1974, ECHOGEL® is an economically priced couplant for flaw inspection in volume use. ECHOGEL offers outstanding wetting capabilities and will quickly wet oily and dirty surfaces. ECHOGEL resists viscosity breakdown on salt-caked boiler surfaces. ECHOGEL is recommended for inspection of power generating boilers when salt cake is present.

    ECHOGEL meets the Halogens and Sulfur requirements specified in NAVSHIPS MIL-STD-767. ECHOGEL meets ASTM F519 Hydrogen Embrittlement test on high strength steel.

      • Excellent wetting capabilities; will quickly wet oily or dirty surfaces
      • Resists viscosity breakdown on salt-caked boiler surfaces
      • Meets nuclear specifications for halogens and sulfur
      • Water-based and water-soluble
      • Does not contain glycerine
