Soundclear GR60

The Sonotech Soundclear is an environmentally benign ultrasonic couplant designed to hold overhead surfaces and fill depressions for use in flaw detection, thickness gauging and acoustic emission testing. This water-based, water soluble couplant meets nuclear specifications for halogens, sulfur and low melting point metals while also providing humectants to slow drying.

Grade 60 has a viscosity of 170,000 cps (Brookfield Helipath Spindle E @ 1.5 rpm).

The Sonotech Soundclear GR60 is available in a case of 12 x 8 oz bottles, a case of 4 x 1 gallon containers, a 1 gallon container, a 5 gallon container and a 55 gallon drum.

SOUNDCLEAR^® is an environmentally benign and operator safe ultrasonic couplant that holds on overhead surfaces and fills depressions in rough surfaces, facilitating its use in flaw detection, thickness gaging, and acoustic emission testing. SOUNDCLEAR is available in two viscosity grades.

SOUNDCLEAR meets the Chlorine and Sulfur requirements specified in NAVSHIPS MIL-STD-767.
